The Tourist Office located in Matour's town center is responsible for the touristic promotion of Matour and its neighboring villages: Brandon, La Chapelle-du-Mont-de-France, Dompierre-les-Ormes, Matour, Montagny-sur-Grosne, Montmelard, Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux, Trambly, and Trivy.

Matour's Tourist Office has flourished over the years thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers.

In addition to the large selection of touristic documents on southern Burgundy and the neighboring departments (Rhône, Loire. . . ) that you can find in the tourist office, there are also brochures on national and even international tourism. Our hostess is standing by year-round to guide you in your discovery of our region.

Please do not hesitate to come by and see us; we are here to answer all your questions, and we will obtain the necessary brochures for your planned holidays.

September to April:
Monday: 13h30 - 17h30
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8h30 - 12h30 and 13h30 - 17h30
Friday: 8h30 - 12h30

May and June:
Tuesday through Saturday: 8h30 - 12h30 and 13h30 - 17h30

July and August:
Open 7 days a week from 10h00 to 12h30 and from 14h30 to 19h00

Artisan Gallery:
Inside the Tourist Office there is also a large gallery where you will find exhibits and sales year-round.

There may be artisan art such as: pottery, wood-turning, painted objects, jewelry, leather objects, painted glass. . .
And all throughout the year the walls are decorated with superb artwork (oil paintings, watercolors, engravings. . .)

For those looking to make culinary discoveries, there are also a number of regional specialties on sale in the tourist office (honey, ostrich terrine, beef terrine, spices, syrups, jams, fruit juices, wine. . . )

These exhibits change regularly and their program is available upon demand.
